The Querini Stampalia Fondation, on the occasion of Venice Biennale 2019, hosts the first retrospective exhibition of the artist Luigi Pericle, who passed away in 2001 at Ascona, Canton of Ticino.

As an ecletic character, painter, illustrator, and all around scholar, and thanks to the artistic heritage found in his house in Ascona in 2016 that remained buried for years, Luigi Pericle is currently being rediscovered and his work esteemed.

As demonstrated by looking at his work, he was influenced by esoteric doctrines, theosophy and mysticism.
